Yalin Tan + Partners have designed and implemented a space that showcases the variety of flexibility. Each zone is a miniature house that can be remade through familiarity and use. Intuitive codifying is more functional than the banal use of walls that merely separate and make dull or isolating. For example, the layered seating arrangements replicate our home spaces and the human yearning for comfortability. In this hybrid format, a balance is found by bringing home environs to work. These are unfiltered zones that require minimal transitions between attentiveness to work and the real world. It’s a narrative journey that isn’t forgotten by sheer walls, dim shades and monotonous work stations. Like nature, human beings thrive and learn in new locations where they feel most at home. Choices in this office space amount to wellbeing.
