Eligibility and Guidelines.

The LOOP Design Awards are open to all Studios and individuals involved in architecture and interior design. The LOOP Design Awards is an international awards program and participants of all nationalities are welcome.

All the entries submitted to LOOP must be BUILT projects completed in the past five years. The only exception is the category ‘Concept and Unbuild’ for projects that are still in the concept phase or were never built.

Student projects are welcome for submission to LOOP Design Awards 2020 in CONCEPT & UNBUILT categories.  We are also planning dedicated Student categories for next year edition.

1. UNACCEPTABLE MATERIAL.

Entries that contain pornographic material, propagate “hate” messages, make defamatory statements or which are otherwise extraordinarily offensive are not eligible and will be disqualified without any refund.

2. DISQUALIFICATION.

Ineligible entries may be disqualified at any phase of the competition without notification or refund.

3. CHILDREN’S ONLINE PRIVACY PROTECTION ACT COMPLIANCE.

We never collect or maintain information at our website from those we actually know are under 13, and no part of our website is structured to attract anyone under 13.

4. ACCEPTANCE OF ENTRIES.

All Entrants will receive a confirmation email of acceptance when an entry has been successfully received. You can also check on your User Account in LOOP Website the status of your entry.

5. ENTRY FEES AND DEADLINES.

LOOP Design Awards mission is to be one of the most accessible prizes, celebrating diversity and creativity.

We created the NOMINATION PACKS to simplify all the process and give all the entrants the opportunity to benefit a discount of up to 20% if you decide to submit 5 projects.

The Nomination Pack fees are the only fees you will pay. Unlike other Awards, there are no extra or hidden fees to pay if your project Wins.

At LOOP Design Awards, it is all included in the entry fee and we do not charge extra for certificates or trophies.

7. SUBMIT ONLINE.

To submit your projects to LOOP Design Award you will go through an easy and simple three steps process:

  1. Register online – Create your user account, registering with your personal information: Name, email address, username and other useful information. We take your privacy very seriously and your personal information will never be shared.
  2. Nomination Pack – Select the nomination pack that best fit your interest. You may submit one or several projects. With the ‘5 entries Nomination Pack’, you are able to save up to 20% when compared to a single entry. Please check our Nominations Pack page for detailed information about entry fees.
  3. Submit your projects – Enter all your project details – All entries should include images that best illustrate the project, along with a clear and short description. Winners are selected by our Honorable and prestigious Jury of Architects, Interior Designers, Professors, Editors and Researchers.

8. DETAILED ENTRY PROCESS INSTRUCTIONS.

After you register with your personal information, you will have to select one Nomination Pack.

The nominations pack are divided by the number of projects you want to submit to LOOP Design Awards:

One entry Nomination Pack
You are able to submit a single project to one of the 30 categories of LOOP Design Awards, either Architecture or Interior Design.

Two to Five entries Nomination Pack
You are able to submit two to five entries to the 30 categories of LOOP Design Awards, either Architecture or Interior Design. It is possible to submit a project to multiple categories but it will count as different entries.

After selecting the Nomination Pack you will be forwarded to payment platform. Nomination Packs are considered valid and available for submissions only after payment has been successfully confirmed.

All the Nomination Packs are valid throughout all the submissions period until the end of October. After you buy the nomination pack you may submit your projects online whenever it is best for you until the end of the deadline.

You are able to buy the Nomination Packs during Early Bird Registration and submit your projects later when it is best for you and your company.

All the entrants that have valid Nomination Packs will be notified via email  in case they have not submitted their projects online within the submission deadlines. We will notify two weeks before the final deadline.

After the final deadline, you will not be able to submit new projects even if you have entries left in your Nomination Pack.

If you miss the final deadline to submit your entries left in your Nomination Pack, we will not refund the remaining amount.

Exceptions apply in cases of technical difficulties to apply the projects at LOOP Design Awards platform. In these cases of technical problem, the entrants should report the technical problems within the valid deadline and we will accept a special submission by email.

9. PROJECT SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS.

Project submissions must be entered exclusively online using our online submission form. A project entry is considered processed after a completed submission form is successfully received by LOOP Design Awards.

After you have registered, and selected a Nomination Pack, uploading a project is easy:

10. IMAGES GUIDELINES.

Each entry submission may upload up to 6 images. We only accept single images and no collages. Make sure you have the photography rights and permission to submit to LOOP Design Awards.

Submitted images must not exceed 2MB per file and be no more than 3000 pixels on the longest side. Images must be saved as JPEGs (.jpg, .jpeg) or PNGs (.png).

11. PROJECT SUBMISSION ENTRY CONFIRMATION.

After you have submitted your project, you will receive an email with a confirmation receipt of your entry. If you do not receive an email confirmation within 24hrs, please email support@loopdesignawards.com

LOOP Design Awards reserves the right to move entries to other categories if it is clearly appropriate to do so. If this is the case, you will be notified by email.
