Wuhan The Catania F House Model Room

Cityscape Development

Short description

Wuhan, also known as the Chicago of the East, has enjoyed a rich dock culture over the course of its historical development, being a hub for people, goods, and cultures from all over the world. It exudes a sense of metropolitan life while also pumping with the vitality of inclusion and openness, which is also consistent with the Vintage style in the room, blending historical and contemporary design elements to freely combine with various forms. This is similar to how the market wharf attracts tourists from all over the world, and absorbs various cultures, along with transmits and creates original works of art through successful trade.
To that end, in this project, the designer combines dock culture with surrealist artwork, uses Dali’s paintings and art furniture to perform secondary design and processing with mirror technique, and draws out horn elements in order to liberate imagination, overcome the logical and practical realistic concept, enhance the space’s artistic value, and simultaneously infuse it with more philosophy as a good result.
The modern western kitchen bar and sculptural bar chairs provide the first mood for the area, while the foyer's beige color scheme shows its beauty to the visitor. Modern and classical art have collided and blended with each other in space, reflecting the idea of the immediate eternity of space. In addition, Francis Bacon’s Study for Bullfight No.3 endows the western kitchen space with a splash of bright color.
The open layout of the dining room, which maintains the art fusion design aesthetic while showcasing the opulent attitude. The main light in the dining room is a sculpture in the shape of a lama, echoing the trumpet and chandelier in the living room. The living room carpet and the curved mirror are connected by the guest restaurant curve sign. The dining table is covered in gold leaf, and the chairs are beige metal with gold metal feet, giving people the impression that the dining room looks like a beautiful stage. The vitality of life is deduced from the flower art on the tabletop and the crystal goblet. The combination of side cabinets, Leda chairs, and Dali artwork produces a singularly artistic ambiance. Here, the design to complete the “multi-dimensional space adventure” experience flawlessly combines life vitality and philosophy.
The solitary red chair in the living room, together with the screen, gives the space a lively waterfront vibe. The artist’s original design for the red chrome-plated bronze screen gives the room a sense of level and richness. The room is presented as low-profile luxurious thanks to a metal arc single chair and black and gold lights. The space’s distinctive style and contrast are created by the off-white curving sofa. The Rome console table and numerous textile materials exercise a combination of inflexibility and yielding.
The master bedroom’s antique silver backboard and the light-colored carpet and bedding give the room a feeling of airiness. However, it is laid-back and informal in the luxurious with the artistic lines of the carpet. The bed’s head provides texture in the form of gold and emits warm yellow light thanks to the marble’s semi-transparent substance, giving the room the appearance of a hazy oil painting. The cabinet on the opposite main wall serves as a break from the routine, and the decorative lights are arranged in a series of vertical lines. Combining with the objects’ display purposes, the owner’s taste is fully exposed and the elements are all the same height, which immediately elevates the room’s design to great extent. At the end of the bed, white sofa and white lamb hair single chair create a quiet private space for the host and hostess to enjoy themselves.
The daughter’s room is quite unique. Beds with the right scale and excellent design sense, floor grid carpet, and high and low cut pile carpet give the little room a touch of tender care. Making the most of the available space, the desk with stainless steel blowing art stool is functional and interesting. And the desk in the shape of a black and white koala device functions as the space interesting point which contributes to helping children grow alongside one another.
The design of elderly room is full of Chinese components, utilizing the element of black leather and gold foil. Thanks to the art paintings at bedside and side cabinet, a pleasant living place for elder people is created under the fusion of modern art and conventional geometric patterns.
The study is a place to work, read, communicate, and socialize in addition to a place to daydreaming. The decorative screen and the cabinet are combined. The warm female red, together with the black leather and the nail which emphasize the sense of male power, create an echo in the room. The Chagall artwork on the wall serves as a metaphor for the value the owner accords to his home.
The two Yangtze River Bridges can be seen clearly from the long L-shaped balcony of the high-rise building. Whether some of friends gather here or relax themselves, the basic bar on the balcony gives us a panoramic view of the city’s nightlife.
