Welcome to the spot. This is the message you find as soon as you enter the reception of the renovated and increased Village Fitness. A young and bold gym designed so no one would be indifferent. Be urban, be healthy and practice sport is the message to deliver. In addition to the remodelling of the existing gym, this club has also been expanded to the adjacent existing store, doubling its area. For this reason, the entire club has been restructured. Part of the challenge was to be able to structure this club keeping the existing spaces in operation, hierarchizing the various areas in turn of complex geometry, developing a clear and coherent internal circuit between the existing and the expansion area. The reception is marked by the visual tension created between the proposed counter and the recessed of the existing ceiling, which, create a strong dynamic that served as a motto for other areas of this club. Chromatically, the neutral colours and the apparent concrete - purposely exposed on the existing pillars - give this club a very urban character. However, to add also more vibrant and positive energy to this space, a third, warmer, layer was introduced, present in the various wooden elements and a mustard yellow colour. Occasionally and with a very graphic objective, disruptive elements were placed.
