The product was designed in 2016 and manufactured in 2017, first in Tbilisi, Georgia. The mirror combines in itself simplicity, minimalism, and elegance at the same time. The inspiration of “The Portal Mirror” is the most elegant interpretation of quantum mechanics' idea that the parallel universe probably exists and we just need to enter another world. The mirror creates a 3D optical illusion of a metaphysical portal. In general, it is the perfect way to increase small spaces and make them feel like magic.
In our interior design projects, mostly in every residential area, we try to find some unusual mirror designs, mainly for hallways or living rooms. The principal point is to find unique and minimalistic shapes.
The body of the mirror consists of painted MDF and brackets for hanging it on the wall. Also, the mirror is used without the hangers as well. -
