Swell Collection for Nienkamper

REPUBLIC OF II BY IV

Product description

The Swell Collection in collaboration with Nienkamper is a series of occasional tables that transform any interior environment with striking statement making silhouettes. Offered in three different heights and diameters, Swell draws inspiration from aquatic life forms of jellyfish and the natural fluid movement of water to create a form that is beautifully balanced. Through a meticulous design process, our industrial designers studied the fluidity of water and aquatic life to draw out the unique tri-panel design base. This design is echoed in the silkscreened “inlay” pattern on the tops. Once this was visualized, the designers developed small maquettes of the collection using 3D printing technology to study the scale and proportions for the full-scale model. Before the scale model was manufactured, the team diligently reviewed all details, construction and fastening methods, resulting in a product that not only met, but surpassed the designer’s vision. The Swell Collection is offered in three different heights (16” coffee table, 18” side table, 22” side table) and four different diameters (24”, 30”, 36” coffee table, 14 1/2” side table). The balanced tri-panel design base which is echoed on the top as a silkscreened inlay pattern is available in a variety of finishes from wood veneer, painted finish, Corian stone, Veneer or Plastic Laminate. Designed with an aim to create clarity in form with nuances inspired by the natural movement of water, these occasional tables are perfect as a stand-a-lone piece or clustered together in groups that easily fit in a variety of areas and applications. The crisp geometry and refined finishes present a stunning complement to any modern or classic interior from private offices, lounges, breakout areas to public spaces.
