Brief description

studio suryan//dang is a collaborative practice for visual story narration. We are two hosting partners as Saurabh Suryan & Lokesh Dang, formed the practice to help architects & designers document their works. They have been exhibiting their works at various galleries in India & globally & were mentioned as “top 15 architectural photographers to follow in the world” by Archdaily. The attached works are from diff. timelines and landscapes of India. it covers the design intentions and aspirations from the length & breath of the country. A set of variable scales, nature and purpose of spaces from temples to installations and everything in the middle. 01 when is space built by architect sameep padora inside charles correa's Jawahar kala kendra for a duration of 6 weeks. 02 Designed by architect lek bunnag's first project in India is a terazzo masterpiece. 03 This is a contemporary adaptation of traditional stepwell of India. 04 This is a multi enveloped house for the east coast of India revealing inner spaces material by material. 05 This is a modernist imitation of a temple in concrete used by devotees. 06 A tea room in calcutta built for a small family. 07 School with buffered landscape for privacy and play. 08 Built as a maze of staggered walls to make enclosures to study the sun.
