  • This project appears as a response to a customer who wanted a laundry area and, at the same time, wanted to offer personalized service. This space is intended to be a harmonious space that provides a comfortable living area while people wait for their clothes.

The objective was to create a modern and innovative environment, reflecting the evolution of a society that seeks practical solutions for its daily life, but still bringing back the memory of traditional community washers.

The space was divided into a self service area and a specialized service area, which will have a lower Schedule and therefore, serves as the physical barrier achieved through “metallic checkered gate”. The green colored ceramics were chosen as an allusion to the ceramic used in old washings. The floor is built in microcement which, in addition to using current aesthetics solutions is suitable for areas with high traffic of people and a good option for being totally waterproof, facilitating its maintenance.

With the use of suspended plants, it is intended to enhance nature through lightness and freshness. Under the plants, we find a marble worktable that takes us back to the old stone tanks.
