‘Savoy Residence – Casa Branca’ is a luxurious housing complex with 3030 m2 of Gross Built Area. The pure geometric matrix of the build is deconstructed in order to adapt to the location and the surroundings. The exterior walls go back, forward or are interrupted to define big windows and balconies. Structural concrete elements were kept at sight, as an aesthetical and design option, diluting its functional characteristics. The façades are also composed of polished large size marble like tiles, that reflect the surroundings, especially the sky, adding depth to the surfaces and making the straight lines of the volumes seem lighter.
The interior design has a minimal style with some industrial elements: big panels, straight and simple lines, materialized by the darker wooden surfaces, light porcelain tiles panels and raw metal frames. This neutral design allows the inhabitants to have wider customizing options on how to stage the spaces.
