Due to the needs of the modern transportation market, ratchet straps have become an important tool because they are widely used to transport various types of cargoes; yet, the longer webbing length makes traditional ratchet (tie-down) strap too large to operate. Considering the problems by conventional ratchet strap, time-consuming operation, and organize messy webbing, the design team has applied the principle of large and small gears to reduce the volume of the spring by 1/3. At the same time, the gearing principle also brings a product feature, which is the speed reduction when the webbing is automatically rolling back; this function prevents the material from driving too fast during rewound and from hurting the user.
