Short description

Thinking of the territory and recognizing it as the foundation for all action of man, carries with it the greater responsibility to promote urban solutions that unequivocally respect its geography and trace the lines for the future.
This project began in the context of urbanization works, through the design of two streets that connect the site to the existing infrastructure providing continuity, geometric and functional, for a future dialogue between urbanity and landscape.

The design, partially radial to accompany the relief of the site, provides a structure for the working matrix to establish a working unit - the patio house - that through its repetition evokes the rule, undeterred by its ability to accept the exception that adapts to the specificities of the site and to the specificities of its own recreation.
On the typology of the house, the patio is the generator of spatial organization, its interior spaces are unsullied and silent.
On the morphology of the buildings, we seek to emphasize the entablature, dematerialize the mass and negate the presence of the foundation, the latter, represented by the supporting walls that hold the development.

The dematerialization of the buildings’ body, through means of glass panels, black ceramic and occasionally treated wood lath, allowed for greater perceived lightness - privileging resting on the earth as opposed to sprouting from the earth.
While developing the project, upon reading and interpreting the territory, we aimed towards the idea that the new volumes will become part of it - fostering the relationship between present and future.
