  • PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
    Lips is an approach to investigate the everyday used consumables in our daily lives. In our everyday activities , we have our favourite home objects we used daily. Overtime these objects start having their own worn texture mark. This defect mark is seen as damaged and they are being disposed of.

    However, these used objects possessed an unadorned edge, and touch which is familiar to us, and it can be attractive to preserved this texture with black lacquer. Lips is a vessel that combines used Material like Aluminium Tube, clay and plastic. The body is shaped from an aluminium cylinder container. The plastic cap is recoated with black lacquer. The crescent shape is sculpted on the internal wall with clay. The inner clay was fired at different temperatures for the gloss finish. The Matt Black and Jet black finish are combined to create this layer of finishes. The differences of finishes preserve the outer while combine a new finish on the inner walls.
