Short description
The stainless steel ceiling with hammered patterns suspends over the reception counter, resembling the night view of the sea. The space is embellished by an appropriate lighting atmosphere, where the slight reflections are like twinkling stars above the peaceful sea and quiet waves, arousing visitors’ emotions and perceptions. The series of volcanic stones become vivid against the mottled light.
Lighting is also used to guide the space circulation turning to the inner space, where different art installations are used to create different scenes. The combination between materials and lighting creates a breathable space.
The linear decorations of the facade and curtain as well as local lighting guide the guests to their doorway respectively. The light is vaguely scattered, like "the moonlight covered by the mist". As implicit and vague natural metaphors, the design creates a relaxed atmosphere that is just right to leave a blank canvas for the visitors to perceive and organize the surge of emotions.
