Short description
Diamniadio is a part of the collective development program of the government of Senegal to alleviate the population density of Dakar. This project is the first rail line in Senegal's history. The train system takes what normally could be a ninety minute car journey and reduces it to 15 minutes. Fatiya Diene Mazza, the partner of ID+EA (Innovative Design + Engineered Architecture) of Dakar was chosen to design a modern terminal that will ultimately connect the new airport with the center of Dakar. Peter Kubilus was selected to document the new train terminal opening week.
