Desjardins – Montréal Tower

Provencher_Roy

Project description

Designed by architect Roger Taillibert in 1976, the inclined tower of Montréal's Olympic Stadium, one of the city’s iconic buildings, greeted its first tenants, the Desjardins Group, in 2018. A complete work of architecture and interior design was carried out, with the rehabilitation of the façades and the restructuring of the interior spaces. Driven by a simple yet ambitious objective - to inhabit a symbol and its history - the design, adapted to the Olympic Stadium’s organic volumes, fosters interaction and creativity with ultramodern offices that act as a work tool. With the selection of historical references to the stadium’s primary vocation, the Olympic spirit stays omnipresent. The streamlined contemporary style inspired a strong sense of belonging, moving beyond the creation of a workplace to that of an animated, living space.
