Bridgestone Innovation Gallery
MOMENT
Project description
Bridgestone Innovation Gallery was designed to be a place that seamlessly connects people and things, the past and the future, the real and the digital, under the theme of ROUNDABOUT, an intersection without traffic lights. Visitors can learn about Bridgestone's history, its fascinating products, the mobility society, and the latest technology through experiences in four zones, each with its own unique characteristics. In the "WHO WE ARE" zone, a single red line runs through the space, connecting history and the future; in the "WHAT WE OFFER" zone, a tire park with a variety of vehicle tires is the center of the exhibit, evoking the future of mobility; and in the "HOW WE CREATE" zone, a permeable membrane divides the space, expressing solutions for seeing the future. In the "HOW WE CREATE" zone, the space is partitioned with permeable membranes, expressing solutions that see into the future. In the "WHERE WE GO" zone, visitors can experience Bridgestone's innovation through images that wrap around the body. Visitors can learn about Bridgestone's history, fascinating products, mobility society, and the latest technology through the experiences of four zones, each with its own unique characteristics. In the "WHO WE ARE" zone, visitors can learn about Bridgestone's history by following the red line that runs through the space. In the "WHAT WE OFFER" zone, visitors can learn about Bridgestone's past products and future solutions, mainly in the "Tire Park" where a variety of vehicle tires are displayed. In the "HOW WE CREATE" zone, a permeable membrane divides the space, creating a laboratory-like atmosphere to promote new products. In the "WHERE WE GO" zone, visitors can experience Bridgestone's innovation through images that wrap around the body. The dynamic dot art at the entrance is designed to represent Bridgestone's CSR system of "Mobility," "People," and "Environment" in a single piece of art, with layers of visitors, full-size cars and airplanes, and trees in the background. Eleven different types of vehicles are laid out in full scale, allowing visitors to experience the size of an actual tire. The dot art is 35 meters in length and 7 meters in height. About 30,000 dots of various sizes are placed by hand, and the logo is hidden in several places for children to find treasure. We imagine that children will feel close to Bridgestone and talk about their experiences with a sparkle to their fathers and mothers.
