  • The mansion is not only a place for resting but also a space with memories which has become a trace of life and recollections. The past has left marks upon the wood look tiles, metal slabs, and the sintered stones. Therefore, Yui Design has used it as the core concept of the plan. By utilizing the client’s collection and making use of blanks, bringing a new soul to the space.
The designer has carefully measured the metric space and taken the needs of the clients into consideration such as the demolition of unnecessary walls so as to broaden the public area. At the same time, the designer has utilized metal slabs, wood walls to establish the texture of simplicity. Moreover, using lines to conceal the storage spaces so that the collection of clients can be well preserved. Also, infusing the concept of galley into the plan, using metal slabs to construct the display cabinets, and matching with the crystal items have created the sense of artistic living space. A mansion is a place for the client to rest but also a corner for the client to find the deep soul from his inner side. Thus, the designer has managed the space with low chroma materials such as white painted woodworks, sintered stones and metal slabs...etc., which combine with the client’s collection like the crystal illuminations, piano and the crystal items, leading the designer to go through a journey of the time corridor calmly.
