Project description
The principle of turning the mix of retail brand and leisure to form the example of festival retailing consciously applied for ‘Aarong’, the top chain-store brand in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Emotion takes the lead in the quantum theory of shopping, the thrill people feel, their excitement, their longings, transform need into desire. That’s why we tried to explore the transcendental nature of the shopping and make it delightful for shoppers. The ground floor and mezzanine create a grand vista at the entry. The lightly-shaded walls, light metal frames, lux oak furnishings make the colorful products stand out. The beauty of the centerpiece hanging ‘Cloud’ Lighting, belies the ingenuity needed to arrange it. It lights the entire space with soft, ambient light. Its festive, glowing effects attract shoppers from the street side.
